Welcome to Shifted Minds
Hi — I’m Graham. I’m glad you found your way here.
I created Shifted Minds as a space for late-diagnosed ADHDers and autistic adults — especially those of us who’ve spent years excelling in demanding roles while wondering why everything felt just that bit harder, lonelier, or more exhausting.
For me, diagnosis came after decades of coping, masking, and burning out in high-pressure environments. Coming to understand what was really going on didn’t just bring relief — it brought a reckoning. And then, a rebuilding.
This newsletter exists to make that process less isolating for others.
Here, you’ll find a blend of:
Tools and ideas to support real-world neurodivergent life
Reflections on masking, burnout, and rediscovery
Research-based insights into ADHD and autism in adulthood
Coaching-informed frameworks for self-understanding
A thoughtful lens on identity, shame, and belonging
Critical takes on mainstream narratives and workplace culture
If you’ve been called high-functioning but felt low-burning, or been praised for being a chameleon while slowly forgetting who you really are — this space is for you.
You don’t need to mask here.
